McDonald’s recognized our Convotherm plant in Eglfing, Germany, for partnering with the community to build a power plant to produce steam from local carbon-neutral crop and dairy farming by-products such as wood chips. Each year, the plant’s many sustainability efforts save about 1 million kg of C02, 4.6 million kWh of electricity, and 270,000 therms of natural gas.
