Enodis EnerLogic™ Products Deliver Energy Saving Performance

Enodis offers more than 100 Enerlogic™ products in our portfolio of leading brands which meet energy efficiency standards as established by the Consortium for Energy Efficiency and/or the EPA Energy Star program.

Enodis companies offering products with Enodis Enerlogic energy-saving performance include Cleveland steam products, Delfield and Shelleymatic refrigeration, Frymaster and Dean fryers, Garland cooking products, and ice machines from ICE-O-Matic and Scotsman. Frymaster H55 Fryer To qualify for an energy-efficiency rating by these agencies, each product is tested by certified labs using standardized tests for energy efficiency. Two examples include the new Frymaster H55 Gas Fryer and the Frymaster E4 Electric Fryer. Both models qualify for EPA Energy Star rating, exceed Consortium for Energy Efficiency standards for energy efficiency, and qualify for energy-saving rebates from utilities in California and other US states. Based on published data, both Frymaster models offer “best in class” energy performance among comparable fryers.

Scotsman Nugget Ice MachinesIn the US, Enodis and our operating companies are working to help restaurant operators take advantage of money-saving rebates available for the purchase of energy-efficient equipment. Products such as Scotsman Nugget Ice Machines and Nugget IceConvotherm Combi Oven-Steamers are eligible for rebates of $1,000 from participating utility companies in California, and similar amounts from a growing number of energy rebate programs around the country.

Looking beyond today’s energy-saving requirements, Enodis and its operating companies are actively involved in promoting new energy efficiency standards and certification criteria for other categories of kitchen equipment where no energy standards currently exist. This includes both energy and water saving standards for commercial dishwashing equipment, and new energy-saving criteria for accelerated cooking ovens. Enodis engineers at the Enodis Nugget IceEducation and Technology Center and at operating companies are working with product managers to identify new energy-saving technologies, and incorporating energy-saving standards in new product development requirements.
